After more than two years of confronting Covid-19 with heaped-up difficulties, the upcoming dialogue between leaders of Hai Duong province and entrepreneurs is an opportunity for businesses to remove obstacles, recover, and develop production and business.

This is not the first time the provincial leaders have had dialogues with entrepreneurs to directly remove barriers and obstacles; however, the business community is really looking forward to the dialogue this time due to positive signals from Party committees and authorities.

Over the past time, Hai Duong authorities' economic management capacity has been confirmed with the 2021 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) jumping 34 places to the 13th position in the country. Scores of sub-indexes Proactivity of Provincial Leadership and Policy Bias were over three points higher than 2020, demonstrating efforts of Hai Duong, especially the provincial leaders, in strongly improving the business and investment environment.

In 2019, after a dialogue with the provincial leaders, obstacles of the fine art ironware and office furniture production project of Lai Vu Private Enterprise (now Lai Vu One Member Co., Ltd.) in Kim Thanh district were somewhat removed.

Therefore, this time, director Bui Gia Thuat hoped that his enterprise's difficulties would be thoroughly solved by authorities at all levels to feel secure about production and business.

Thuat said his company's investment and rent of land had been advocated, but construction on the land had not been allowed for more than 11 years because of dike procedures. The firm day after day expects settlement to build workshops.

Chairwoman of the provincial Female Entrepreneurs Association Tran Thi Thu assessed that the majority of entrepreneurs lacked access to the law. Gaps in legal knowledge have caused problems in the process of investment, even faults.

The dialogue of the provincial leaders will be a chance for entrepreneurs to express their feelings, thereby creating connection between authorities and businesses, helping them have confidence and keep their mind on production and business.
