A new road will be built to connect Kinh Mon town of Hai Duong province and Thuy Nguyen city of Hai Phong city in the near future.
A project to build a road connecting national highway 17B with Dinh bridge to link Kinh Mon town of Hai Duong province and Thuy Nguyen city of Hai Phong city is expected to start before this July and finish within 2025.
This is one of two traffic projects of Hai Duong for connection with Hai Phong in the period of 2024 - 2026.
The 3.1 km long route has a total investment of 248 billion VND.
Its starting point will intersect with national highway 17B in Long Xuyen ward of Kinh Mon town, and the end point will connect with the approach of Dinh bridge in the town’s Thai Thinh ward.
The road construction aims to gradually complete the planned regional traffic system, reduce traffic congestion and risks of traffic unsafety, and, at the same time, expand the urban development space of Kinh Mon town to promote the local and provincial socio-economic development.
