With agility and creativity, many workers in Hai Duong province have continuously strived to master production technology, helping their companies remain strong in the digital age.
Hearty Rise Vietnam Co., Ltd. built a factory in Doan Tung industrial cluster in Thanh Mien district, Hai Duong province in 2018. Ever since, the enterprise has continually upgraded its production lines to increase productivity and reduce manual labor.
The company pays special attention to training and improving the skills of its employees in order to master technology. Over the past years, it has sent dozens of workers to China for training and learning from experiences. Upon returning to Vietnam, they became key figures in training high-quality laborers, meeting the company’s production and business needs.
Pham Dang Doan, Leader of the Production Team of Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Hai Duong City, has actively proposed many good initiatives to the company’s Management Board, contributing to material savings and increased labor productivity.
One of his solutions helped the enterprise save more than 2.5 billion VND in 2024. In early 2025, Doan was honored as a national exemplary worker by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
“I have received in-depth training in production technology, management software, and automation tools at this company. As a result, my professional skills and productivity are improving day by day,” said Doan.
Boviet Hai Duong Solar Technology Co., Ltd. in Cong Hoa industrial park, Chi Linh city has prioritized high-quality workforce training from an early stage. Since 2024, the company has taken around 300 workers to its factory in Bac Giang province for practical training and specialized courses.
According to a representative of the company, sending workers for training is a long-term human development strategy for Boviet. After completing these courses, the workers will become internal experts capable of transferring technology and guiding their colleagues, thus helping create a high-skilled workforce in the future.
Additionally, Boviet is cooperating with universities and research centers to train and provide high-quality human resources.
“Our company is applying automation systems, Internet of things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) in the production process to optimize production capacity and reduce costs. Therefore, we always support workers in accessing new technology to manage and track work progress. Our company also has many good policies and regimes to encourage employees to proactively make innovations in production and business,” said Pham Thi Thao, Head of the firm’s Human Resources Department.
In the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution, many blue-collar workers worry about job losses. However, this is a driving force for laborers to take the initiative in approaching modern science and technology.
According to Nguyen Van Quyet, Standing Vice President of the provincial Confederation of Labor, businesses need to create the best conditions for employees to bring into play their capabilities and master technology. Direct training not only benefits workers but also helps enterprises proactively have a high-quality workforce.
