There is great demand for land use registered for the 2021 – 2030 period at provincial and district levels.

Implementing a land use plan for the 2021 – 2030 period, Thanh Mien district authorities have asked permission of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to shift 2,750 ha of agricultural land, including 2,600 ha of rice land, 30 ha of annual crop land, 51 ha of perennial crop land, and 69 ha of land for aquaculture, to non-agricultural land.

Earlier, according to a report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the use purpose of 1,565.2 ha of agricultural land in the district was expected to have been changed by 2030.

Meanwhile, there is great demand for land use registered for the 2021 – 2030 period at provincial and district levels. The area of land in the additional planning at provincial level alone amounts to 1,712 ha.

Therefore, very little agricultural land is allowed to be converted, not enough to carry out projects and works in the direction of developing the economy of the province and the district.
