Thanh Hai water puppetry troupe welcomes int’l arrivals

The UK, US, and Canadian visitors came from the Thai Binh river on their way to Ha Long.

The troupe performed nine acts which reflected rural life in Vietnam, promoting the image of Vietnamese people to the international tourists.

According to Pham Khac Xoa, head of Thanh Hai water puppetry troupe, the group of international visitors ordered the performances right at the beginning of the year, so members of the troupe carefully prepared from costumes to acts.

In previous years, the troupe was often divided into two screws for shows at home and in the Central Highlands. However, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it neither organized shows nor went far in the past two years.

This year, the troupe has welcomed back visitors.
