The Hai Duong Newspaper has released a special publication with rich and interesting contents on the occasion of the 98th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – 2023).
The publication features politicians, veteran writers, and famous journalists inside and outside the province.
It contributes to affirming that the Vietnamese revolutionary press, founded and led by President Ho Chi Minh, has always served the nation’s interests and defended justice, reason, and fairness as the voice of the people over the past nearly 100 years.
The press has well performed its role as a bridge between the Party and the people, had a part in promoting social progress and economic development, joined in prevention and control of corruption and negative phenomena, etc.
Newsmen always fulfill their social responsibility.
“Journalism is a forever profession,” said former Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop at the recent seminar “Culture and behavioral culture of journalists” with officials, reporters, and employees of the Hai Duong Newspaper.
His opinions were rewritten by a reporter of the Hai Duong Newspaper in an article of the same name in the special publication.
Information technology has recorded great progress in recent years, influencing the behavior of internet users and the development trend of modern journalism.
Themed “Digital transformation in journalism,” the publication wishes to bring readers a comprehensive view of “The flow of modern journalism” as well as changes of Hai Duong press to mingle with that common flow with the motto “The press is present wherever readers are.”
Journalist Hai Duong recommended every reporter to be a politician, a thinker, a culturist, and a penman in the article “There is no metal that rusts faster than a pen” with his experience in the profession.
The publication also has many articles expressing aspirations of Hai Duong journalists towards prestigious awards in journalism and their career memories with concerns or attachment to life, the people, and soldiers.
Through these articles, readers can see somewhat the present Hai Duong press, wishes, efforts, and even the courage of journalists in cultivating their profession and fighting evil, with readers’ needs considered the ultimate goal.
Printed in the publication are new literary works, many articles on culture and arts, and stories of journalism and journalists, especially pressmen’s works.
