Short-term credit balance rises again

This is a positive signal showing that economic organizations' need for short-term loans to supplement floating capital has risen again.


The outstanding balance of short-, medium-, and long-term loans and foreign currencies increased compared to the end of July


According to data from the State Bank's Hai Duong branch, the total outstanding loans at credit institutions in the province had amounted to VND97,200 billion by the end of August, up 7.6% and 0.6% over the end of 2020 and the end of last July, respectively.

Medium and long-term outstanding loans and foreign currencies rose by 0.8% and 4.4%, respectively, compared to the end of July.

Short-term loan balance alone increased by 0.5%, getting rid of negative growth. Earlier, the outstanding balance of short-term loans at the end of July slightly decreased by 0.1% compared to the end of June.

This is a positive signal showing that economic organizations' need for short-term loans to supplement floating capital has risen again.

By the end of August, a total of VND147,000 billion had been mobilized, an increase of 5.8% over the end of 2020 and 0.8% over the end of July.

Mobilized capital with terms of 12 months or more and deposits in VND increased by 1.7% and 0.8%, respectively, compared to the end of July.
