Short-term credit balance in Hai Duong up 17.6%

The growth of short-term credit balance partly showed a positive signal of the speed of businesses’ production and business recovery.


Short-term credit balance accounts for more than 72% of the total outstanding loans of the entire banking sector


According to data from the State Bank of Vietnam's provincial branch, by the end of October, the total credit balance of the provincial banking sector amounted to nearly 122,450 billion VND, up 14.9% and 0.6% over the end of 2021 and the end of September 2022, respectively.

In particular, short-term loan balance reached 88,250 billion VND, accounting for 72.07% of the total outstanding loans, up 17.6% compared to the end of 2021 and 0.7% compared to the previous month.

The growth of short-term credit balance partly showed a positive signal of the speed of businesses’ production and business recovery.

Outstanding balance of medium- and long-term loans also recorded growth compared to the end of 2021 and the end of last month with rises of 8.4% and 0.3%, respectively.
