Promoting import, export via e-commerce transactions

The Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Duong province has coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (iDEA) to mobilize importers and exporters in the province to participate in sale promotion on the Vietnam's Supporting Platform for Exporting and other platforms cooperated on by the iDEA and Vietnam Trade Offices abroad.

The Department of Industry and Trade suggested that district People's Committees and business associations inform and introduce import and export units and enterprises in the locality about registration for participation, thereby promoting import and export in the e-commerce environment.

ECVN is a digital transformation solution based on e-commerce integrated with an import-export trading community with the aim of directly connecting Vietnamese importers and exporters with foreign importers and quickly transmitting trading and market information from Vietnam Trade Offices in other countries to the domestic business community.

ECVN has helped Vietnamese businesses access a flexible business model which both reduces costs and optimizes resources to overcome difficulties in the current epidemic context.
