409 people in Hai Duong applied for a Korean language test under South Korea's Employment Permit System program during the registration phase from October 17 – 21, according to the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.

98% of them registered to take the test in manufacturing (assembly and measurement), only one person applied for the test in agriculture.
The reason is that agriculture brings lower income and fewer job opportunities at domestic businesses after repatriation compared to manufacturing.
The Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs has gathered and sent qualified applications to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs' Center of Overseas Labor to organize the test for the workers in mid-November.
