Major General Le Ngoc Chau appointed Deputy Secretary of Hai Duong Party Committee, Chairman of Hai Duong People's Committee

Major General Le Ngoc Chau, Member of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Party Secretary, Commander of the Mobile Police Command under the Ministry of Public Security, has been appointed Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province for the 2020-2025 term.

The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee summoned a meeting on September 4 to announce the decision.

On the same day, the provincial People’s Council elected Chau Chairman of the provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the approval votes.

Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Nguyen Quang Duong and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang believed that with his qualifications, capacity, experience, and political courage and with support from the provincial authorities and people, Chau will fulfill his duties and tasks.

Chairman of the provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu said the approval votes reflected the trust of members of the provincial People's Council in Chau.

For his part, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau pledged to be dedicated to his work and bring into play his brainpower to together with the provincial Party Committee to improve the province’s achievements over the past years.

Chau will direct the provincial People's Committee to continue operation in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and law; promote solidarity and collective intelligence; uphold discipline; and give prominence to personal responsibility, proactiveness, exemplary spirit, and creativity of each member so that the provincial People's Committee can fulfill all assigned tasks.
