The Management Board of Con Son – Kiep Bac Relics starts harvesting lotuses and making lotus tea products
The Management Board of Con Son – Kiep Bac Relics started harvesting lotuses and making new lotus tea products on June 6, focusing on improving their quality and packaging.
Aesthetic factors will be added to lotus tea packs, and each tea-table talk will refer to Saint Tran Hung Dao and his Van Kiep Palace.
These changes will contribute to affirming the unique value of products chosen as gifts by tourists and disseminating the history and significance of the relic site.
The management board also plans to expand the consumption market of lotus tea products as gifts and rewards, concentrating on enterprises, agencies, units, and tourists.
This year’s lotus tea production is expected to double last year’s figure, with about 50,000 packs of dried lotus tea and approximately 20,000 packs of frozen fresh lotus tea.
