Japanese corporation to pump more investment in Hai Duong

Nissei Technology Corporation wishes to expand production in Vietnam’s Hai Duong province, said the company’s Division Director Yasuhisa Koike.

The wish came during his recent meeting with Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu in Kobe city, Hyogo prefecture, who is on a working trip to Japan to promote cooperation on investment and trade.

Koike expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation from Hai Duong province shortly after Nissei Technology Corporation celebrated its 100th founding anniversary (1923 – 2023).

Nissei built a factory, Nissei Technology (Vietnam) Ltd., in Hai Duong in 2006 with an initial investment of 16.6 million USD.

The corporation has so far poured 42.2 million USD into Nissei Vietnam and is considering investment in the province’s extended Phuc Dien industrial park, according to Koike.

For his part, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu hailed the corporation’s plan for further investment in Hai Duong.

The provincial leader emphasized that Hai Duong would like to continue cooperation with Nissei Technology Corporation to promote the provincial socio-economic development.

“Hai Duong will create the most favorable business and investment environment, meet Nissei's investment expansion requirements in terms of procedures, land, human resources…, and ensure security, order, and social safety for Nissei to feel secure about long-term operation in the province,” said Hieu.

He expressed his joy to be present at Nissei's factory on the occasion of its 100th founding anniversary.

The visit was more meaningful as it took place at a time when Vietnam and Japan are celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties, contributing to strengthening the increasingly good and profound relationship between the two countries.

Today (October 3), Hieu and his entourage will continue to participate in investment and trade promotion activities in Japan.

The provincial delegation is expected to attend a forum promoting cooperation between localities and businesses in Vietnam and Japan’s Kyushu region and the exchange program "Vietnam-Japan Friendship 2023" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations in Fukuoka prefecture within the framework of the working trip.

Nissei Technology Corporation designs and manufactures ultra-precision plastic optical and molded components for the global marketplace with annual revenue of 13 billion USD.

The corporation’s Nissei Technology (Vietnam) Ltd. is based in Phuc Dien industrial park, Hai Duong province.

Over the past nearly 17 years, Nissei Vietnam has created jobs for thousands of local workers, contributed to the provincial budget, and promoted the development of the province's industry.

The company pays attention to taking care of its workers’ material and spiritual lives aside from expanding production and business.

It always does a good job of protecting the environment and complies with Vietnamese policies and laws.

As a result, the enterprise has been awarded many certificates of merit by the Prime Minister and Hai Duong province.
