Japan ranks 2nd in Hai Duong in terms of investment

Each FDI project from Japan has an average investment of about 24 million USD.

At present, there are over 490 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in Hai Duong province with a total registered capital of more than 9 billion USD from 26 countries and territories, according to the Department of Planning and Investment.

An estimated 7 billion USD in investment of FDI businesses has been disbursed.

56 out of the FDI projects in the province belong to Japanese enterprises with a total capital of over 1.4 billion USD. Japanese enterprises rank second among FDI investors in Hai Duong in terms of number of projects and investment.

Enterprises from China’s Hong Kong and South Korea come first and third, respectively.

Investment mainly focuses on fields like manufacturing and assembling electronic and mechanical components, telecommunications equipment, etc.

As assessed by the Department of Planning and Investment, Japanese projects in Hai Duong were quickly implemented, ensured the committed schedule and operated stably and effectively.
