Issues related to Hai Duong city planning adjustment considered

Mr. Luu Van Ban, Member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, presided over the 2nd regular December meeting of the provincial People’s Committee on December 14 morning to consider and discuss a number of issues about the arrangement of public headquarters and a project for Hai Duong city planning.

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Luu Van Ban required the Hai Duong city People’s Committee and the consulting unit to absorb suggestions at the meeting to study and update the project to adjust the city's general planning until 2040 and noted that some projects related to the areas of Hai Duong Porcelain JSC., Hai Duong Pump Manufacturing JSC., Rose Hotel, the south of Lo Cuong bridge, etc. should be fully and specifically supplemented to the project.

The city authorities should coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review land norms for health and education to avoid difference between planning and actual allocation.

A representative of the consulting unit explains some issues related to the Hai Duong city planning adjustment project

Hai Duong city authorities are coordinating with departments, sectors, and the consulting unit to correct and complete the project to adjust the city's general planning until 2040 in accordance with the Ministry of Construction’s appraisal for submission to the Prime Minister for approval.

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Luu Van Ban stressed that the project to build an urban area in the center of Pham Ngu Lao ward should be urgently carried out.

The Department of Planning and Investment should give advice to realize the project. The city People’s Committee will be the investor with funds taken from the provincial budget.

The project will be included in the public investment portfolio for the 2021-2025 period and implemented in 2023.
