Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Mr. Pham Xuan Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, on June 24 afternoon paid a working visit to An Phat Holdings in An Dong industrial cluster, Nam Sach district.

They were accompanied by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trieu The Hung, and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duong Thai.

After hearing leaders of the company report on its production and business situation, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien appreciated the industries and fields invested in and developed by An Phat Holdings and acknowledged the group's efforts to maintain and promote production and business and its important contributions to Covid-19 prevention and control.

The Minister of Industry and Trade suggested An Phat Holdings proactively work out production and business strategies and plans, accelerate the implementation of underway projects, and forestall opportunities to expand markets and create breakthroughs.

The group should continue to closely coordinate with and promptly request Central and local bodies to remove difficulties and obstacles in investment and business.

Agencies, units, and local authorities of Hai Duong should continue to hear and help the enterprise achieve its objectives suitable to development trends and orientations.

Briefing the provincial socio-economic development in the first six months of 2021, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang affirmed that Hai Duong would strengthen development in the direction of green growth and digital transformation.

The provincial authorities desired that leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Science and Technology would continue to pay attention to, accompany, and assist Hai Duong in removing difficulties and obstacles in planning and investment in industrial zones and clusters.

Hai Duong authorities pledged to continue supporting and creating the most favorable conditions for An Phat Holdings and other enterprises to invest in production and business development.

According to An Phat Holdings, despite the impact of Covid-19, the group still achieved a stable growth rate. Production and business at 15 member companies and 10 factories with many officials and employees were safe.

The group also donated a total of VND20 billion to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.
