Humid weather likely to remain until Feb 7

Cloudy and humid weather is likely to continue in Hai Duong province on February 2, with drizzles and light fog at night and early in the morning and temperature 17 - 21 degrees Celsius, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

This kind of weather is forecast to remain from February 3 - 7 with slightly higher temperature, 18 - 25 degrees Celsius.

A cold wave is predicted to hit the province on February 8, pulling temperature down to 14 - 22 degrees Celsius.

The weather is expected to become more severe in the next days, from February 9 - 12 (the last day of 2023 – the 4^th day of 2024 in lunar calendar).

In particular, temperature may drop to 11 - 19 degrees Celsius on the 1^st and 2^nd days of the lunar new year.

The average temperature and total rainfall in February are forecast to be about 18 degrees Celsius and 21 mm, respectively.

The province may be affected by 2 - 4 cold waves this month.
