Hai Duong, Vientiane provincial Youth Unions discuss teenage work

The Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union of Vientiane province, led by Mr. Khamley Xayyavongsy, Member of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, paid a courtesy visit to leaders of Hai Duong province on July 26.

There, Secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang provided information about the socio-economic development of Hai Duong.

He suggested that the Hai Duong provincial Youth Union share experience with the friend locality to promote the youth's role in economic development, drug prevention and fighting, etc.

The secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee recommended secretaries of the Youth Unions of the two provinces to re-evaluate the results achieved from a cooperation agreement signed in 2003 and proposed the signing of another document for the next period to raise the special friendship between the two provinces to a new height.

Mr. Khamley Xayyavongsy thanked the secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee and other leaders of Hai Duong for their warm and thoughtful welcome and desired that through the working visit to Hai Duong, the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union of Vientiane province would have a chance to exchange and learn from experience in companion with the youth during the Youth Unions' activities and methods to carry out the Youth Unions' work to reduce negativity among young people today, especially drug evil.
