Hai Duong's GRDP growth rate ranked 6th in Vietnam

The growth rate of the provincial industry and construction sector posts the highest rise compared to the other sectors in the first six months of the year

Hai Duong's GRDP was ranked 6th in the country, after Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam, and Khanh Hoa provinces, and 2nd in the Red River Delta, after Bac Ninh province, by the General Statistics Office.

Compared to the first half of 2021, the industry and construction sector posts the highest increase (17.8%), followed by the service sector with 8.1% and the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector with 3.1%.

Effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic has helped economic sectors gradually recover and thrive.

GRDP is an aggregate economic indicator, reflecting all final results of production activities in a given period.
