Hai Duong lures 27 new FDI projects in five months

Hai Duong attracted 27 new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in the first five months of 2024, bringing the total number of FDI projects in the province to 564.

Hai Duong province attracted 27 FDI projects with a total registered capital of 119.2 million USD in the first five months of the year, reported the Department of Planning and Investment.

Of these, there were 24 projects worth a total of 115.8 million USD inside industrial parks and three outside industrial parks with a total value of 3.4 million USD.

During the reviewed period, the province approved the addition of 40.9 million USD to 13 existing FDI projects, and foreigners injected 2.5 million USD into 11 capital contribution and share purchase deals.

Hai Duong is now home to 564 FDI projects from 27 countries and territories with a total registered capital of nearly 10.5 billion USD, some 8.8 billion USD of which has been disbursed.
