Hai Duong tax sector has been actively applying digital technology to e-tax declaration and payment, thereby both contributing to creating favorable conditions for people and businesses and accelerating digital transformation in the sector.
Having traded in electronic and civilian electrical goods in Tu Ky township for 20 years, Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, owner of Ngoc Vinh electronics and electro-refrigeration store, said: "Recently, I have been instructed to use the eTax Mobile application. This is a big step forward. Connection to a bank account is the only thing needed, and now tax payment is completely in the palm of my hand."
In fact, recent forms of e-tax declaration and payment mainly support big businesses. Now, the eTax Mobile application is aimed at assisting individual taxpayers, business households, and people with irregular incomes.
With the eTax Mobile application, all tax obligations of individuals such as land use fees for households, registration fees, receipts related to personal income tax, real estate transfer, etc. are integrated to be able to declare and pay taxes electronically anytime, anywhere.
In addition, eTax Mobile also contributes to helping business households and individuals paying flat taxes gradually approach modern tax management platforms.
To effectively apply the eTax Mobile application, Bui Duc Thanh, Deputy Director of the provincial Taxation Department, said: "The provincial tax sector has been promoting and will continue to promote communication and guidance for people and businesses to understand and step by step approach this application, thereby facilitating tax declaration and payment as well as reception of information about tax polices transmitted through the application."
With the goal to turn every tax official into a propagandist accompanying taxpayers, by June 29, all tax officials in the province had installed this application.
"Only when thoroughly understanding e-tax management platforms can we accompany people and businesses and promptly remove their difficulties," added Thanh.
The provincial Taxation Department targets that by the end of 2022, all business households and individuals paying taxes through declaration and 50% of business households and individuals paying flat taxes will have paid taxes via eTax Mobile.
