Craft villages have contributed to preserving and promoting cultural and traditional values of Hai Duong province.

Hai Duong province is home to 66 craft villages, including 34 traditional ones with 3,576 production facilities, according to the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
Tu Ky and Gia Loc districts have the most craft villages in the province (11 each).
These craft villages are providing jobs for more than 12,600 people, many of them are seasonal workers and those beyond the working age.
Binh Giang district records the largest number of workers in craft villages (nearly 2,900), followed by the districts of Gia Loc, Nam Sach, and Cam Giang.
Each craft village worker earns 4 – 8 million VND/ month.
These craft villages have contributed to economic and labor restructuring in rural areas and preservation and promotion of local cultural and traditional values.
