Hai Duong-based FDI enterprises’ revenue up 12.5%

Revenue of FDI enterprises in Hai Duong province amounted to 4.5 billion USD in the first six months of 2024, an increase of 12.5% year on year.

The FDI enterprises’ exports and imports were valued at 4.2 billion USD and 3 billion USD in the first half of the year, up 38.8% and 20% compared to the same period in 2023, respectively.

The companies also paid 240 million USD to the State budget, a rise of 6% over the corresponding period last year.

There are 566 valid FDI projects from 27 countries and territories in Hai Duong province with a total registered capital of nearly 10.5 billion USD, some 9 billion USD of which has been disbursed.

485 projects have been put into operation, providing jobs for 230,000 direct workers and thousands of indirect ones.

Hai Duong strives to attract 500 million USD and disburse 850 million USD in FDI this year.

The FDI enterprises are expected to earn 9 billion USD in revenue and pay more than 500 million USD to the State budget in 2024.
