Ha Noi and Hue have been voted among the 10 winners in the "best cities" category at the 2023 Luxury Awards Asia Pacific given by U.S. travel magazine Travel+Leisure.
The others were Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Luang Prabang, Siem Reap, and Taipei.

Hue in the central region used to be the feudal capital of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam's last royal family (1802-1945), and is famed for its imperial tombs and UNESCO heritages such as the Imperial Citadel.

The nominees were selected by the Travel+Leisure team of editors and expert contributors from across the Asia Pacific, and the winners were chosen based on voting by the public.
