The company has had to dismiss 105 employees in some sections like cutting, sewing, checking, etc. The dismissed workers were given allowances as prescribed.
Due to the impact of Covid-19, the number of orders of Formostar Garment (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. in Ai Quoc ward, Hai Duong city has tumbled by about 60% since early this year and is forecast to further drop by the end of the year.
At present, most of the remaining orders are small with low unit prices.
Since this September, the company has had to dismiss 105 employees in some sections like cutting, sewing, checking, etc. The dismissed workers were given allowances as prescribed.
There remain more than 900 laborers at the company.
Having been operated for more than 20 years, Formostar Garment (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. specializes in manufacturing, processing, and exporting garments to the US.
