First Tu Ky Organic Rice – Ragworm Festival held

Speaking at the event, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan appreciated Hai Duong's initiative in organizing the festival.

This is an opportunity to introduce clean and high quality agricultural products and regional specialties.

Minister Le Minh Hoan suggested that the new thinking "Hai Duong people do agriculture for human life" be widely deployed.

Tu Ky in particular and farmers in general should attach special importance to four steps to create added agricultural value and develop multi-layered and multi-valued agriculture.

The minister hoped that in the coming time, Hai Duong's agricultural products would be known and enjoyed more by people at home and abroad.

At the festival, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang affirmed that Hai Duong was focusing on developing multi-layered and multi-valued agriculture based on its own potential and advantages and agricultural differences.

The 2022 Spring Crop's Organic Rice – Ragworm Festival will create value on the 4th floor (experiential agriculture), which is a new direction.

Hai Duong's development of endemic agriculture will improve not only nutritional and material values but also cultural, historical, and experiential tourism ones.

On this occasion, representatives of Bao Minh Agricultural Products Trading and Processing JSC., New Generation Agriculture JSC., Babeeni Vietnam Co., Ltd., and An Thanh Agricultural Service Cooperative contracted for association in production and underwriting of organic rice and bananas.

Leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Hai Duong province cut the ribbon to sell the first batch of organic rice and bananas.

Taking place after the ribbon-cutting ceremony were contests of harvesting organic rice and fishing with baskets in the Soi river, attracting a large number of spectators.
