Formed in 1995, Con Son Botanical Garden in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province is a special ecological environment, the home of tens of thousands of native plants with up to 30 floral species listed in the Red Book.

Con Son Botanical Garden, located next to Con Son – Kiep Bac special national relic site, covers an area of 30 ha with about 450 species of native and imported plants

The Con Son Forest Management Station under the Hai Duong provincial Forest Management Board directly manages the garden along with nine local households

Cutting down wild trees for other plants to grow

A big ironwood tree about 35 m tall in the garden. It requires two people to fully embrace

A sao den (Hopea odorata) tree which is recorded in the Red Book, originates in Southern forests, and is around 25 m tall with lush branches

A camphor tree, a precious medicine with special aromatic attar

Staff members of the Con Son Forest Management Station manage the flora system in the garden through a digital map, records, and a Zalo group
