Pham Duc Dong in An Thanh commune, Tu Ky district, Hai Duong province, has managed to grow more than 30 special plants of various countries in a garden, driven by his passion for trees and a desire to personally grow and enjoy world-famous fruits with his relatives.

The trees include Arabic dates, American grapevines, Japanese Kuroama (black flesh) persimmons, Xinjiang jujubes, Mexican guavas, etc.

Dong must learn about the trees’ characteristics and attention methods to grow them. Some of the trees have already yielded fruit.

The garden covers a small area of more than 360 m², so many trees are planted in pots. Each tree has a name tag on it
