Exemption, Reduction of Interest Rates for over 2,100 Businesses

According to Hai Duong Branch of the State Bank, as of 6^th November, banks in the province have exempted, reduced interest rates for 13,859 customers with a total outstanding loan of VND 28,314 billion, of which VND 13,668 billion is the outstanding balance amount of 2,128 enterprises which were exempted or reduced interest rates.

Banks have extended, changed repayment terms for 80 enterprises out of 647 customers with outstanding loans of VND 981 billion, accounting for 53% of the total outstanding loans with re-scheduled payment terms.

These are the specific measures of the banking sector to help customers, especially businesses to overcome difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
