Coach Park Hang-seo invests in exhibition hall and mini pitch project in Hai Duong

Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province Tran Duc Thang, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Trieu The Hung, and leaders of several departments in the province received Park Hang-seo, former head coach of the Vietnam national football team, on March 11.

Coach Park Hang-seo informed the leaders of his project to build a Park Hang-seo exhibition hall and mini pitches on 2.4 ha of land in the western urban area of Hai Duong city.

The pitches will cover a total area of about 6,000 m2, and the hall and a park more than 2,000 m2, Park said, adding that all of them will be designed in an environmentally friendly direction and used for community purposes, in which the hall and the park will be open for free.

On display in the hall will be remembrances from many football matches of the Vietnamese team, the former head coach elaborated.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang highly appreciated Park Hang-seo’s project.

“Hai Duong will create the best conditions within the framework of Vietnamese law and the province’s actual conditions to ensure the progress and quality of the project,” Thang pledged.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung believed that the cultural and sport project of coach Park Hang-seo, who brought many achievements to Vietnamese football, would enrich Hai Duong’s sport traditions, especially football.

Improving people's physical condition and health is a major policy of the province; thus, Park’s project came in the nick of time, Hung said.

The province, city, and relevant departments will work out the best support measures so that the project can be implemented soon, he added.
