3.5 billion VND donated to Hai Duong Funds for the Poor

A representative of the Movement Board of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee said this year’s campaign to raise funds for the poor was carried out at three levels from October 17 to November 30. However, since the beginning of December, some organizations and individuals have still donated money to the provincial Fund for the Poor.

During the campaign, the province raised about 3.5 billion VND for Funds for the Poor at three levels of province, district, and commune.

Localities raising great subscriptions were Hai Duong city (nearly 1 billion VND), Nam Sach district (close to 880 million VND), Chi Linh city (nearly 750 million VND), and Thanh Ha district (nearly 400 million VND).

During the 2022 peak month “For the poor”, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province jointly handed over financial support for nearly 20 “great unity” houses to poor families.

Sectors and localities also organized many practical activities to take care of and help poor people.
