Some 110 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh city in the southern province of Tay Ninh stands Ba Den mountain.
This is the highest mountain in the south, at 986 metres above sea level, and is located in the Ba Den historical, cultural, scenic and tourist relic site, which has been recognised as a national tourist area by the Government.
