Mung bean cake producers begin New Year season

Hai Duong province is home to more than 50 mung bean cake brands, such as Bao Hien, Hoa An, Nguyen Huong, Bao Long, Ba Tien, Gia Bao, and Hoang Gia.

Normally, about 50 tons of mung bean cakes are produced each day in the province.

The production is often doubled before Tet (Lunar New Year) for domestic and export sales.

Hai Duong’s specialty of mung bean cake has become a hometown gift for relatives and friends every holiday and Tet.
