Hai Duong province is forecast to suffer intense heat during the 5-day holiday from April 27 to May 1.
It will be rainless and sunny in Hai Duong province from April 27 – 30 mainly because of a strong western depression, forecast the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
Intense heat may occur on April 29 and 30, with temperature likely to hit 36 degrees Celsius.
The depression is expected to weaken on May 1 due to the impact of weak cold air in the north, resulting in showers and thunderstorms in the province at dusk and night.
Temperature is predicted to range between 25 and 34 degrees Celsius.
The hot weather may affect outdoor activities during the long holiday.
