Hai Duong, Vietnam Airlines ink 2024-2030 cooperation deal

Leaders of Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines believe that the cooperation will create new development momentum for both sides in the coming time.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province and Vietnam Airlines held a conference on August 21 afternoon to sign a memorandum of cooperation for the 2024-2030 period.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung informed the participants about some of the province's potential and strengths in socio-economic development as well as the provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.

Hai Duong is also home to many famous historical, cultural, and scenic sites.

The cooperation agreement between Hai Duong and Vietnam Airlines is of great significance, contributing to promoting the development of tourism, trade, investment, and aviation activities and calling for investment as well as cultural exchanges between regions in at home and abroad, said Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung.

“Hai Duong is committed to closely cooperating, dedicating resources, and creating favorable conditions for effective cooperation with Vietnam Airlines,” said Hung on behalf of the provincial leaders.

Vietnam Airlines General Director Le Hong Ha emphasized that Hai Duong is famous for its specialty of lychee, a gift that Vietnam Airlines has been serving and will continue to serve on its flights.

“In the near future, Vietnam Airlines will organize a program to promote Vietnamese tea culture, and Hai Duong mung bean cake will be an indispensable product of the program,” said Ha.

Vietnam Airlines will jointly popularize tourist attractions and strong products of Hai Duong province domestically and globally through its extensive flight network and diverse media, Ha added.
