Hai Duong steps up Cao Xa station upgrading

Work on the cargo yard of Cao Xa station in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province is being accelerated and expected to be basically completed by April 15.

An embankment has been built to ensure railway traffic. The construction unit is striving to basically complete all items in the interim phase by April 15 to soon have the first international train departing from Cao Xa station.

Cao Xa station is located at km 50+870 of Ha Noi – Hai Phong railway, near such industrial parks as Dai An, Cam Dien, Phuc Dien, and Tan Truong. Vietnam Railways Corporation suggests investment in phase 1, including the renovation and enlargement of the existing cargo yard to 10,000 m2, construction of a temporary warehouse, protective fences, surveillance cameras, a fire prevention and fighting system, lighting around the cargo yard, etc. (exclusive of site clearance), approximate to 61 billion VND.
