The tournament is expected to draw 100 players from domestic and international teams.
Hai Duong province will organize the first International Table Tennis Tournament for Con Son Cup at the provincial Gymnasium from September 9 – 13, 2023.
Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the provincial Department of Construction cum Chairman of the provincial Table Tennis Federation, unveiled the information at a meeting on September 5 to announce the establishment of the tournament organizing committee.
A number of domestic and international table tennis teams, including Ha Noi, T&T Ha Noi, the Police, the Army, the host Hai Duong, and China’s Guangdong, have registered for the tournament.
It is expected that about 100 players will compete in four categories, namely men's team, women's team, men's singles, and women's singles, at the tournament.
As planned, international teams will arrived at Noi Bai airport on September 8, and matches will start at 8 am, 2 pm, and 7.30 pm on September 10 and 11.
The finals of men's and women's singles categories, awarding and closing ceremonies will take place on September 13 evening.
