9th National Games table tennis kicks off

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Board affirmed that the hosting of table tennis competitions at the 9th National Games is a political, cultural, and social event to propagandize the image and socio-economic development of Hai Duong.

This is an opportunity to assess and rate the quality of table tennis training in provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide.

Competing in table tennis competitions at this year’s Games are 108 players of 13 delegations from the provinces, cities, and sectors of Da Nang, Dong Nai, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh city, Binh Duong, the Public Security, the Army, and the host Hai Duong.

This is a precious chance for the table tennis players to exchange and learn from experience and improve their professional qualifications and for selection of the best players for the national team to compete in regional and international tournaments in the following years.
