Domestic direct investment projects brought more than 5,000 billion VND in registered capital and over 3,000 billion VND in additional one to Hai Duong province in nine months.
Hai Duong province attracted more than 8,000 billion VND in domestic direct investment (DDI) in the first nine months of 2024, meeting the target for the whole year, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.
There were 41 new DDI projects with a total registered capital of more than 5,000 billion VND, 2.3 times higher than the same period last year.
Most of the projects were in the fields of commerce, services, industrial park infrastructure, and processing and manufacturing of industrial and agricultural products.
During the reviewed period, the province also approved the addition of over 3,000 billion VND to 137 existing projects.
Hai Duong is home to 1,761 DDI projects with a total capital of 112,683 billion VND, including 85 projects worth 14,773 billion VND in the provincial industrial parks.
