Hai Duong's DDI up 14 times

Domestic direct investment (DDI) in Hai Duong province has exceeded 3,400 billion VND since early 2023, a surge of 14 times year on year, according to the Department of Planning and Investment.

The provincial authorities approved investment in six new projects with a total registered capital of 535 billion VND and supplementation of 2,883 billion VND to 35 existing projects during the period.

The new projects are located outside industrial parks and mainly in the fields of mechanical engineering, agricultural product processing, etc.

The provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 10/2022/QD-UBND dated September 28, 2022, regulating conditions, criteria, scales, and ratios for division of public land into independent projects.

The decision removed obstacles in appraisal, procedure completion, and investment advocacy, facilitating DDI attraction.
