FPT proposes building 5 – 10 ha educational complex in Hai Duong

FPT Corporation would like to build an FPT educational complex covering 5 – 10 ha in Hai Duong province, said director-general of the corporation Nguyen Van Khoa at a working session with the People’s Committee on June 10.

It is expected to be a high-quality inter-level general educational complex from elementary to high school levels, Khoa said, adding that the corporation aims at vocational education at college and university levels in the long term.

“This will be a model with international quality but domestic tuition fees,” Khoa affirmed.

FPT was also committed to investment in Hai Duong for outstanding development in digital transformation.

“FPT is ready to work hand in hand with Hai Duong on future development ideas,” said the company leader.

Emphasizing the provincial authorities' orientation to turn Hai Duong into an industrial province, especially the orientation to develop high-tech industry, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Trieu The Hung hailed the corporation’s proposal to build an educational and scientific complex in the locality.

He assigned appropriate authorities to coordinate with the corporation to draft specific and detailed cooperation contents and an implementation plan.

Hai Duong considers digital transformation as one of its top priorities; thus, Hung suggested that the province and FPT have more comprehensive cooperation in the time to come to bring about the best results according to a cooperation memorandum signed by both sides in 2021.
