First taxi company uses QR code for fare payment

To limit the use of cash, Viettel Hai Duong has coordinated with Thanh Dong taxi company to apply the payment method of QR code scanning to about 300 cars of the firm.

This is the first taxi company in the province to have integrated this smart payment solution.

After each journey, passengers only need to open the Mobile Banking application, select the QR feature, scan the code following each transaction provided by the driver, and authenticate it without having to inputting the fare amount.
