Businesses offered free digital signatures

The Hai Duong Department of Information and Communications is coordinating with branches of VNPT, Viettel, and Mobifone network providers in the province to offer people and businesses free digital signatures to process administrative procedures, starting from mid-October 2024.

Chi Linh is the first locality in the province to provide free digital signatures for officials, public servants, workers, armed forces, people, and businesses in the city at the end of June.

To date, more than 2,400 digital signatures have been given to people and businesses in the city.

Digital signatures enable people and businesses to sign and confirm documents online without having to go directly to State administrative agencies to submit and receive documents, saving time, effort, and costs for both the State and people.

Digital signatures also prevent the possibility of forgery, ensure information security and legality, and conform to development trends.
