87.2% of surveyed businesses negatively impacted by Covid-19

The Office of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee, the management board of a project to survey the actual impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on businesses in the province, has announced its distribution of 1,500 questionnaires to active enterprises in the province (accounting for about 19% of the total businesses).

Results showed that up to 87.2% of the enterprises were negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, 11% said they were not affected, and nearly 2% recorded positive results.

The Covid-19 pandemic influenced customer access, production and consumption markets, and cash flows of businesses, caused unemployment and underemployment, etc.
