Three young Hai Duong swimmers to compete in finswimming world cup

Three young swimmers from Hai Duong province have been summoned to the national team to compete in the 18th Finswimming World Cup 2024, Round 4.

The Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association has summoned three members of the Hai Duong finswimming team to the national young finswimming team to train and compete in the 18th Finswimming World Cup 2024, Round 4, scheduled for 6 – 8 September in Phuket, Thailand at the invitation of the Association of Thailand Underwater Sports.

Those are Pham Thi Thu, Le Thi Thanh Van, and Vu Ngoc Diep, born in 2002, 2004, and 2008, respectively.

Among them, Pham Thi Thu and Le Thi Thanh Van are defending SEA Games champions, while Vu Ngoc Diep has just returned from the National Clubs Swimming and Finswimming Championship with two golds and one silver medal.

At the 2023 Asian Finswimming Championships and Asian Junior Finswimming Competition, also held in Phuket, Thailand, Pham Thi Thu outstandingly secured one gold, one silver, and one bronze, and Le Thi Thanh Van one silver and one bronze.
