The program is aimed at helping disadvantaged students have the opportunity to attend university.
Rector of Hai Duong-based Thanh Dong University Le Van Hung on February 14 said that the university will grant full-ride scholarships to 50 students in especially difficult circumstances throughout the country who will start a regular course there in 2023.
These students will enjoy free education, accommodation at the dormitory, and utility services of the university throughout the course.
They will study an application-oriented syllabus to be able to start their own business or work for enterprises without retraining after graduation.
The university commits that all students will find jobs with starting income at least 1.5 times higher than the State's rate.
The university has implemented the program since 2021 and offered full-ride scholarships to 70 students in 2021 and 2022.
