Sao Do University’s SDU-King team qualifies for the national final round
The last two matches of Hai Duong-based Sao Do University in the Northern qualifying round of the 2023 Vietnam Robot Contest (Robocon Vietnam) took place in Ha Noi on April 23.
The university’s SDU-Queen and SDU-Pro teams competed with the DCN-UBKM team from Ha Noi University of Industry and the SKH-Phoenix team from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education, respectively.
The two matches dramatically took place; however, Sao Do University’s teams were defeated.
The SDU-Pro team earned a berth in the final round with the second place in their group, while the SDU-Queen team stopped in the qualifying round.

Earlier, Sao Do University’s SDU-King, SDU- Lightning, and SDU-Win teams booked tickets to the national final round thanks to excellent performance.
The university thus has four out of 26 best teams in the Northern qualifying round to compete in the national final round, scheduled for this May in Nam Dinh province.
This is the 15th year Sao Do University has participated in the contest. Its highest achievement so far is the national third prize in the Robocon Vietnam 2019 which took place in Hai Duong province.
The Northern qualifying round of the Robocon Vietnam 2023 is taking place from April 20 – 24 in Ha Noi.
