[Photos] Beauty of Thanh Hai advanced new-style rural commune

Thanh Hai, the most populous commune in Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province, has finished advanced new-style rural building.

The commune is striving to meet the model new-style rural standard by 2025.

Thanh Hai commune is rich in cultural traditions; thus, its new-style rural appearance has both traditional cultural features and the modernity of a commune active in economic development.

Thanh Hai is located in the west of Thanh Ha district, 3 km from the district center. The commune is passed through by provincial road 390, the district road, and the Thai Binh river with a diverse waterway system, facilitating local socio-economic development


There are two effectively-operating garment enterprises in the commune, providing jobs for nearly 8,000 laborers inside and outside the district. More than 95% of people of working age in the commune are employed


Schools in the commune are large enough to meet national standards


All five hamlets in the commune have been recognized as cultural ones. There are 15 regular cultural, musical, and sport clubs in the commune, helping to improve people’s spiritual life and health


Thanh Hai is famous for its traditional water puppetry, which dates back to the 17th century. Thanh Hai Water Puppet Troupe has won many gold and silver medals at festivals and been awarded a certificate of merit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism

An Liet temple in An Liet 2 hamlet was classified as a national historical and cultural relic in 1995. The temple is dedicated to five people who were honored as tutelary gods for helping the Le dynasty fight the enemy to protect the country
