The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on July 19 afternoon received and worked with a delegation of officials, track and field coach and athletes from Laos’ Vientiane province.

The Vientiane track and field team, consisting of one coach and five athletes, is training at the Hai Duong provincial Center for Sport Training and Competition from July 18 to August 31.
After more than two years of interrupted training because of Covid-19, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Nguyen Thanh Trung delightedly and warmly welcomed the Vientiane team and affirmed to create the best conditions during their training period in Hai Duong.

He suggested that the provincial Center for Sport Training and Competition carefully prepare facilities and training and attach special importance to accommodation and assurance of security and the safety of the team.
This is a content to realize a memorandum of understanding between Hai Duong and Vientiane provinces.
