Korean company to add 15 million USD to project in Hai Duong

Korean-invested Eduen Vina Co., Ltd. has been allowed to increase investment in its project in Hai Duong province to more than 20.5 million USD, up 15 million USD over registration.

The provincial People's Committee granted the permission at its first August meeting on August 1 after having heard the provincial Industrial Parks (IP) Authority’s proposal.

He required the investor to put the project into operation only after fulfillment of all procedures and provisions of the law.

The investor of An Phat 1 IP infrastructure must complete the entire infrastructure of the IP and meet conditions to put it into use, Hung said.

“The Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs shall jointly supervise the operation of the project, promptly report on occupational safety problems that affect employees’ health, and propose handling options,” added Hung.

Eduen Vina’s project was licensed by the provincial IPs Authority in 2020 and adjusted for the third time in August 2022.

The company now wishes to amend its investment registration certificate and legal representative and relocate the project from the extended Dai An IP in Cam Giang district to An Phat 1 IP aside from investment increase.

The firm aims to manufacture and process flexible printed circuit boards in phones and cars; exercise the right to export, import, and wholesale of goods; rent out workshops; etc. in An Phat 1 IP.
